S-Index Interpretation
The S-Index (Sharing Index) is a comprehensive metric that represents the cumulative impact of all your datasets. It is calculated as the sum of Dataset Index scores across all your claimed datasets.
What it means:
- A higher S-index indicates greater overall impact of your datasets relative to typical datasets in their fields of research
- The S-Index grows as you add more datasets or as existing datasets gain more citations and mentions
- It provides a single number to track your research data impact over time
Current S-Index: 12.9 (sum of 7 datasets Dataset Index scores)

The experimental samples were taken from Zhanjiang City, Guangdong Province. After being brought back to the room for 3 days of starvation treatment, adult male and female individuals were selected and their body surfaces were washed with sterilized ultrapure water. Cut off the limbs of male and female individuals, place them in a 1.5 mL enzyme free test tube, and store at -80 ℃. Male and female adults each contain 3 duplicate samples (named Fp1, Fp2, Fp3 and Mp1, Mp2, Mp3). High throughput PE150 sequencing was performed using Illumina Novaseq.

Chongqing Jinfo Mountain Karst Ecosystem National Observation and Research Station was officially approved for construction in late 2021 by China’s Ministry of Science and Technology. As the main observation field, based on the eddy covariance technique, long-term and continuous measurements of carbon and water fluxes of the subtropical evergreen broad-leaved forest ecosystem has been operational since three years ago. Based on the flux data processing system of ChinaFLUX, this work produced the standard dataset of the subtropical evergreen broad-leaved forest ecosystem including carbon and water fluxes, as well as the key meteorological data at the Jinfo station from 2020 to 2021. This dataset can provide significant data support to analyze the carbon source/sink of typical forest ecosystem, the coupling relationship between carbon and water cycles, as well as their response mechanisms to global climate change. This dataset consists of 4 EXCEL data files, which are divided into 2 categories, namely flux data and meteorological data. The dataset is comprised of net ecosystem carbon exchange, gross primary productivity, ecosystem respiration, latent heat, sensible heat, as well as air temperature/humidity, wind speed/direction, soil temperature/humidity, precipitation, total radiation, net radiation and photosynthetically active radiation. The meteorological data are divided into 10 min, 30 min, daily, monthly and annual scales, and flux data are divided into 30 min, daily, monthly and annual scales.

The dataset is composed of the following two tables. (1) The plant species list in Beijing urban areas includes 130 families with 535 genera and 1,059 vascular plant species. The data contain the information of plant family Chinese name, family Latin name, genus Chinese name, genus Latin name, species name, species Latin name, life form and record year. (2) The monitoring plots list includes 301 monitoring plots of Beijing Urban Ecosystem Research Station in Beijing urban areas. The data contain the information of plot order number, type of green spaces, address, longitude and latitude.

The syllabus.zip contains the original data set of the syllabus of colleges and universities in China and the United States. Supplementary material1.pdf shows the statistical description and analysis of the source universities and departments of the syllabus. Supplementary material2.xls shows the country, University and discipline descriptions of each syllabus data and their file names in the syllabus.zip. The syllabus data of computer related courses in Chinese universities are manually confirmed and counted according to the following steps. 1. search by keywords such as "Syllabus", "Course Syllabus" and "computer" in the browser; 2. manually confirm whether there is a syllabus document under the relevant website; 3. confirm the contents of the collected documents. The effective Chinese syllabus data set collected in this study comes from 41 universities, including 49 different combinations of colleges and departments, a total of 1814 syllabus. Due to the large number of American syllabus published online, we collect data through automatic data crawling technology as follows. 1. obtain the top 250 American universities ranked by us news and world report in 2017 and determine their websites; 2. manually confirm all abbreviations related to computer; 3. finally, by combining the college website and the abbreviation of the college and department, the college website that may exist in relevant colleges and departments is traversed in turn, and the syllabus data is automatically captured. The effective English syllabus data set collected in this study comes from 185 colleges and universities, including 477 different colleges and departments.
