S-Index Interpretation
The S-Index (Sharing Index) is a comprehensive metric that represents the cumulative impact of all your datasets. It is calculated as the sum of Dataset Index scores across all your claimed datasets.
What it means:
- A higher S-index indicates greater overall impact of your datasets relative to typical datasets in their fields of research
- The S-Index grows as you add more datasets or as existing datasets gain more citations and mentions
- It provides a single number to track your research data impact over time
Current S-Index: 0.6 (sum of 2 datasets Dataset Index scores)

Datasets
OverviewThis dataset includes motion data from 100 people in Kandy District, Sri Lanka, collected over approximately 21 days from 13 different professional categories using GPS tracking. The GPS coordinates are clustered and presented as location strings, which show each person's visited locations along with timestamps recorded every minute. The dataset covers 7 zones: 'IndustrialManufactureZone', 'CommercialFinancialZone', 'AdministrativeZone', 'AgriculturalZone', 'EducationZone', 'ResidentialZone', and 'MedicalZone', and features 18 unique locations within these zones.Request AccessTo obtain access, users must provide the following details in the request message:A brief description of the intended use of the dataset, outlining the purpose of their study (maximum 250 words).Principal Investigator’s nameAffiliationAffiliated website
