Sequence datasets for Eurasian tree sparrows (Passer montanus) (Version: V1)

We collected blood or tissue samples from tree sparrow (Passer montanus) populations across China, covering diverse geographic regions. Two house sparrows (Passer domesticus) from Xinjiang and Qinghai were included as outgroups. Genomic DNA was extracted using the TIANamp Genomic DNA Kit (TIANGEN Biotech, China) and stored at -20°C. Detailed sequencing and assembly methods are described in the Methods section of the associated article. The dataset includes three components:four-gene dataset: Two mitochondrial gene datasets include cytochrome b gene, partial cds (CYTB, 207 samples), and NADH dehydrogenase subunit 2 gene, partial cds (ND2, 205 samples). Two nuclear introns include Beta-Fibrinogen gene, partial intron (FGB5, 209 samples), and Proteasome subunit alpha type 2 gene, partial intron (PSMA2, 208 samples). Sequences were amplified and sequenced from 33 populations across China.whole mitochondrial genome dataset: Complete mitochondrial genomes were obtained from 37 individuals representing 14 tree sparrow populations (file name: "WholeMitochondralGenome_39.fasta"Tables of sequence information.docx: Sampling locations, collection dates, and voucher number for individuals in the four-gene dataset are provided in Table 1, and those for the whole mitochondrial genome dataset are provided in Table 2.
