Understanding local food diversity, prices, seasonal availability and market networks. Once a month of the local market day, all fresh food items sold in the target local markets were recorded at eight (8) local markets (main and satellites) in Kitui District, Kenya. Through individual interviews with each market vendor, the data was collected by trained 1-4 local enumerators depending on the size of each market.
