El evento de muestreo fue realizado en el Parque Nacional Natural Cahuinarí para el reporte de anidación de las tortugas Charapa (Podocnemis expansa) y Taricaya (Podocnemis unifilis), comprendidos entre los años 2014 a 2020. El lote cuenta con un total de 5.861 registros para la anidación de las tortugas en el Parque. La metodología empleada fue aplicada para el monitoreo y seguimiento de las zonas de desove, alimentación y resguardo, y recorridos de vigilancia. Esta consistió en realizar turnos de control y monitoreo por tres semanas, intentando cubrir las dos épocas hidroclimáticas de la región (aguas bajas y aguas altas). Adicionalmente hay información acerca de la eclosión y supervivencia de los huevos en los nidos.
