S-Index Interpretation
The S-Index (Sharing Index) is a comprehensive metric that represents the cumulative impact of all your datasets. It is calculated as the sum of Dataset Index scores across all your claimed datasets.
What it means:
- A higher S-index indicates greater overall impact of your datasets relative to typical datasets in their fields of research
- The S-Index grows as you add more datasets or as existing datasets gain more citations and mentions
- It provides a single number to track your research data impact over time
Current S-Index: 3.6 (sum of 2 datasets Dataset Index scores)

Description: The dataset was recorded during the ETN-FPI workshop on “Visual data capture” in Nov 2017 at the premises of Fraunhofer Institute for Integrated Circuits IIS in Erlangen by Faezeh Zakeri, Aron Cserkaszky, Sergio Moreschini, Gabriele Scrofani, and Christos Kaspiris-Rousellis. The footage has been preprocessed and calibrated using the Realception® plugins from Fraunhofer IIS. The dataset contains rectified images recorded by eight blackmagic cameras. The cameras were in 2 by 4 grid as follows: c0 c1 c2 c3
c4 c5 c6 c7 Each camera recorded a sequence of 370 images with 1080 x 1920 resolution and 8 bits per color. Images from each camera are stored in a separate folder - enumerated as c0, c1, ... c7. Images from camera c0 are also provided separately as a movie (avi) file. License:
