Additional file 17. Characteristics of the 7,177 source cohort's (the Singapore Breast Cancer Cohort) patients with blood or saliva samples and clinical data. Comparison to the 2,145 selected patients in this study was done using the Chi-square test for categorical variables and the Kruskal Wallis test for the continuous variables, unknown values were excluded from the test.
