Single frequency fiber lasers at 890 and 910 nm by self-developed heavily Nd doped silica single-mode fiber (Version: V1)

In order to meet the demand of single frequency fiber laser in ~900 nm band, Shanghai Institute of Optics and finer mechanic further prepared Nd quartz glass with high uniformity and high concentration doping by sol-gel combined with high temperature sintering characteristic technology. The fluorescence branch ratio of ~900 nm band was significantly improved by the control of Nd ion coordination environment through polyanion co-doping. The single frequency fiber lasers at 890 and 910 nm were achieved successfully.
