S-Index Interpretation
The S-Index (Sharing Index) is a comprehensive metric that represents the cumulative impact of all your datasets. It is calculated as the sum of Dataset Index scores across all your claimed datasets.
What it means:
- A higher S-index indicates greater overall impact of your datasets relative to typical datasets in their fields of research
- The S-Index grows as you add more datasets or as existing datasets gain more citations and mentions
- It provides a single number to track your research data impact over time
Current S-Index: 4.6 (sum of 1 dataset Dataset Index scores)

Datasets
The presented data set contains information on the distribution and species composition of zooplankton (rotifers and crustaceans) recorded in the Middle Volga basin, Russia. The studies were conducted in tributaries of the Cheboksary Reservoir (Nizhny Novgorod Oblast and the Republic of Mari El). Hydrobiological data were obtained and published between 2015 and 2022 from 13 rivers: Vetluga, Sura, Kerzhenets, Sundovik, Kudma, Vezloma, Linda, Pyra, Trestyanka, Chernaya (Zavolzhye), Zhuzhla, Chernaya (Pravoberezhye) and Uzola. In total, the dataset includes 6710 records of 257 zooplankton species belonging to 36 families, including 4 invasive species.
