S-Index Interpretation
The S-Index (Sharing Index) is a comprehensive metric that represents the cumulative impact of all your datasets. It is calculated as the sum of Dataset Index scores across all your claimed datasets.
What it means:
- A higher S-index indicates greater overall impact of your datasets relative to typical datasets in their fields of research
- The S-Index grows as you add more datasets or as existing datasets gain more citations and mentions
- It provides a single number to track your research data impact over time
Current S-Index: 0.8 (sum of 1 dataset Dataset Index scores)

In this study, the characteristics of photon nanojets of patchy microspheres at different coverage areas, irradiation angles and different immersion medium refractive indices are explored by numerical simulation. Table 1 shows the data of PNJ characteristics changing with the incident angle when the coverage area is 27%; Table 2 shows the data of PNJ characteristics changing with the incident angle when the coverage area is 48%; Table 3 shows the data of PNJ characteristics changing with the incident angle when the coverage area is 69%; Table 4 shows the data of PNJ characteristics changing with the refractive index ratio increasing from 1.1 to 2.0; Table 5 shows the data of PNJ characteristics changing with the refractive index ratio increasing from 1.42 to 1.48, and includes the data of relative intensity change at the focus. These data show that patchy microspheres can produce photon nanojets with "S"-shaped photon hook characteristics and super-diffraction limit, and trigger resonance under specific conditions.
