Dataset comprised of soil properties and chemistry (pyrophosphate and ammonium-oxalate extracted Al, Fe and C, and soil %C and %N) and soil column experiment initial and leachate DOM solution chemistry (Al, DOC, POM, PON, pH). Soils collected from Bf and BC horizons of soil pits dug out in the Pynn's Brook Experimental Watershed Area (PBEWA), while initial DOM solutions were collected from passive-pan lysimeters under the O horizon across the PBEWA.

Replication Data for: Mapping and modelling a boreal forest soil organic carbon predictor in the glacial till of Newfoundland, Canada (Version: 1.1)

Contains data and code associated with till Al availability modelling. This includes the till geochemistry shapefile and all necessary raster files for replication of the models, the code used model Al and generate the predictions and associated calibrated standard deviation, and results in raster form of predictions, standard deviation predictions and calibrated standard deviation predictions. The code can also be modified to suit other modelling ventures or uncertainty calibration.
