This study assessed the feasibility of using a fingertip force sensor to measure the force-time characteristics of spinal mobilizations performed by chiropractors on children aged five and under. Six chiropractors and 43 children participated. Recruitment was successful, and data collection was feasible despite some challenges related to children's cooperation. The sensor did not affect tactile feedback or increase treatment time. However, issues with calibration and visual placement were noted, and data loss occurred, especially during cervical mobilizations. These findings support the potential use of fingertip sensors in pediatric research while highlighting areas for methodological improvement. Cette étude a évalué la faisabilité d’utiliser un capteur de force au bout des doigts pour mesurer les caractéristiques force-temps des mobilisations vertébrales chez des enfants de cinq ans et moins. Six chiropraticiens et 43 enfants ont participé. Le recrutement a été réussi et la collecte de données globalement faisable, malgré quelques défis liés à la coopération des enfants. Le capteur n’a pas nui à la sensibilité tactile ni à la durée du traitement. Des problèmes de calibration et de positionnement ont toutefois été observés, ainsi qu’une perte de données, notamment lors des mobilisations cervicales. Ces résultats orientent l’amélioration des méthodes en recherche pédiatrique.
