Composite images derived from colonic cross sections during murine infection by Clostridioides difficile carrying fluorescent transcriptional reporters

This file contains the composite images of colonic cross sections derived following Clostridioides difficile infection of mice. Mice were infected with either single reporter or dual reporter strains, with the single reporter consisting of a constitutive transcriptional reporter, and the dual reporter consisting of a constitutive transcriptional reporter combined with a toxin gene-specific transcriptional reporter. The dual reporters were integrated into different mutant backgrounds that either overexpress toxin genes relative to WT or fail to express toxin genes. File names reflect the figures that were made from the composite images included in the folder
