Altitude optimum for 171 forest species for 1905-1985 and 1986-2005 periods.

Altitude optimum for 171 forest species for 1905-1985 and 1986-2005 periods. Altitude optimum of a species is defined as the value of altitude that maximizes the presence probability of that species. Presence probability was computed along the gradient of altitude by logistic regression. Curves established with 7982 forest plots (3991 for each period) with complete inventory of vascular plant species and incomplete inventory of mosses.
