S-Index Interpretation
The S-Index (Sharing Index) is a comprehensive metric that represents the cumulative impact of all your datasets. It is calculated as the sum of Dataset Index scores across all your claimed datasets.
What it means:
- A higher S-index indicates greater overall impact of your datasets relative to typical datasets in their fields of research
- The S-Index grows as you add more datasets or as existing datasets gain more citations and mentions
- It provides a single number to track your research data impact over time
Current S-Index: 1.7 (sum of 5 datasets Dataset Index scores)

Part of a PhD dissertation--this is field data from Moorea, French Polynesia regarding the population dynamics of Diadema savignyi. Data were collected during the austral winters in 2009 and 2010. Four datasets are provided: (1) recruitment data of Diadema savignyi over the course of ~9 weeks during the austral winter of 2010, (2) predation data of adult Diadema using a tethering experiment, (3) urchin abundance surveys for 2009 and 2010, and (4) a 9 week weekly survey of newly recruited Diadema (test diameter). Please contact me if you would like to have access to any of these datasets.
