This data set contains the raw volume data of the LES CFD simulations of the CentriMag blood pump used in the publication "Experimental Validation of Large Eddy Simulation as a Benchmark for Reynolds-Averaged Navier-Stokes Flow Modeling in a Magnetically Levitated Blood Pump".The zip file contains a series of CSV files. Each CSV files contains the scattered data within the observed domain described in the manuscript and of the time-step denoted in the file name. For the LES case the time step corresponds to 0.125 degree of rotation. The data files contain pressure in mmHg, velocity components in x, y and z in m/s and the coordinates of the data point in mm.The accompanying data sets for the uRANS and PIV data can be found under 10.5281/zenodo.14034947 and 10.5281/zenodo.14034202 respectively.

This data set contains the raw footage from the experimental setup used in the publication "Experimental Validation of Large Eddy Simulation as a Benchmark for Reynolds-Averaged Navier-Stokes Flow Modeling in a Magnetically Levitated Blood Pump".The first set contains the footage used to reconstruct the impeller motion, without any tracer particles and with a wider field of view.The second set contains the footage used for the PIV reconstruction of the velocity fields.Additionally, a guideline is provided to transform the image coordinates into the global reference system used in the publication.All footage was recorded with a frame rate of 10 000 frames per second.The accompanying CFD data sets for the uRANS and LES data can be found under 10.5281/zenodo.14034947 and 10.5281/zenodo.14035245 respectively.
