S-Index Interpretation
The S-Index (Sharing Index) is a comprehensive metric that represents the cumulative impact of all your datasets. It is calculated as the sum of Dataset Index scores across all your claimed datasets.
What it means:
- A higher S-index indicates greater overall impact of your datasets relative to typical datasets in their fields of research
- The S-Index grows as you add more datasets or as existing datasets gain more citations and mentions
- It provides a single number to track your research data impact over time
Current S-Index: 2.3 (sum of 1 dataset Dataset Index scores)

Datasets
This dataset is derived from the LAMOST survey and contains gas-phase metallicity information of star-forming galaxies. The table includes the unique identifier for LAMOST spectra (obsid), celestial coordinates (RA and Dec), signal-to-noise ratio in the r-band (snrr), spectral redshift (z), and gas-phase metallicity (Z_pred) predicted by a convolutional neural network (CNN) regression model. The distribution of gas-phase metallicity peaks at approximately 9.0 dex, with most samples ranging from 8.5 to 9.2 dex and an average of about 8.91 dex. This dataset can support studies on galaxy chemical evolution and star formation processes.
