Beryllium 10 in Antarctica over the last seven millennia

Since the first measurements of beryllium 10 (10Be) in ice, in the seventies, numerous profiles of this cosmogenic isotope produced by the interaction of cosmic rays with the Earth atmosphere have been obtained in Antarctica. This dataset compiles published and unpublished 10Be Antarctic ice core data over the last seven millennia. A stack representing the global 10Be variations in Antarctica has been produced with those records, after synchronization on a common scale. Simulated carbon-14 (14C) records, based on those 10Be measurements, were produced. This dataset contains seven excel files and one zip file:Be_holocene_data_orsay.xlsx: 10Be data prepared by the Orsay team.Be_holocene_data_others.xlsx: 10Be data from other sources.synchronisations_on_Vostok.xlsx: synchronization of 10Be records on the Vostok one.synchronisations_on_PS1.xlsx: synchronization of 10Be records on the South Pole one.stack_calculation_on_Vostok.xlsx: calculation of the 10Be stack based on synchronized records on Vostok 10Be data.stack_calculation_on_PS1.xlsx: calculation of the 10Be stack based on synchronized records on South Pole 10Be data.C14_simulations.xlsx: ∆14C records simulated by a 12-box ocean carbon cycle model with the 10Be stack or Vostok data as input.conf_files_Match.zip: configuration files for the synchonization of the records with the Match protocolA complete description of this dataset can be found in the submitted Data Descriptor paper for Nature Scientific Data: Jouzel, J., Cauquoin, A., Bard, E., Zhang, L., Hou, S., Wu, Z., Zhou, W., Lipenkov, V., Petit, J.-R., Raisbeck, G., and Yiou, F.
