S-Index Interpretation
The S-Index (Sharing Index) is a comprehensive metric that represents the cumulative impact of all your datasets. It is calculated as the sum of Dataset Index scores across all your claimed datasets.
What it means:
- A higher S-index indicates greater overall impact of your datasets relative to typical datasets in their fields of research
- The S-Index grows as you add more datasets or as existing datasets gain more citations and mentions
- It provides a single number to track your research data impact over time
Current S-Index: 0.0 (sum of 2 datasets Dataset Index scores)

The SPEARHEAD E>100 MeV SOHO/ERNE catalogue includes 172 Solar Energetic Particle (SEP) events. A description of the catalogue's contents follow:Columns 1–2 list the SEP event number and identifier.Columns 3–4 give the event date, start time at SOHO/ERNE >100 MeV, and background level of the analysed channel.Columns 5–11 summarize SOHO/EPHIN >100 MeV results: background, peak flux, fluence, and end time.Columns 12–19 provide Soft X-ray (SXR) flare details (start, peak, and end times; peak flux; fluence; position; and observing spacecraft).Columns 20–28 list the corresponding Hard X-ray (HXR) parameters when available (onset, peak, and end times; magnitude; total counts; energy range; position; and observer).Columns 29–49 describe radio emissions: type III (Cols 29–35), type II (Cols 36–42), and type IV (Cols 43–49), including the observing station or spacecraft, onset time, and frequency range (MHz).Columns 50–56 contain γ-ray information (onset, peak, and end times; peak intensity; total counts; and observer).Columns 57–61 list associated Coronal Mass Ejection (CME) data (first appearance, plane-of-sky speed, spatial speed, width, and identification source, e.g. SOHO/LASCO).Columns 62–65 summarize Ground LEvel Enhancement (GLE) characteristics (reference number, intensity, fluence, and station).Column 66 provides comments and cross-references to other published SEP catalogues.
