S-Index Interpretation
The S-Index (Sharing Index) is a comprehensive metric that represents the cumulative impact of all your datasets. It is calculated as the sum of Dataset Index scores across all your claimed datasets.
What it means:
- A higher S-index indicates greater overall impact of your datasets relative to typical datasets in their fields of research
- The S-Index grows as you add more datasets or as existing datasets gain more citations and mentions
- It provides a single number to track your research data impact over time
Current S-Index: 1.6 (sum of 2 datasets Dataset Index scores)

Datasets
This dataset contains the sequence data, multiple sequence alignments, and 3D structural models used in the study titled "Comparative evolutionary and structural bioinformatic analysis of the human N-Acetyltransferase-2 (NAT2) gene across different mammalian and avian taxa."The data includes:1. FASTA-formatted protein sequences of NAT2 CDS orthologs across selected mammalian and avian species2. Homology-based 3D protein structure models of selected NAT2 orthologs in PDB format3. Metadata including accession numbers, organism names, and alignment/structure detailsThese resources can be used to replicate or extend the evolutionary and structural analyses conducted in the study. The structural models may also support future functional or pharmacogenetic research involving NAT2 homologs across vertebrates.
