S-Index Interpretation
The S-Index (Sharing Index) is a comprehensive metric that represents the cumulative impact of all your datasets. It is calculated as the sum of Dataset Index scores across all your claimed datasets.
What it means:
- A higher S-index indicates greater overall impact of your datasets relative to typical datasets in their fields of research
- The S-Index grows as you add more datasets or as existing datasets gain more citations and mentions
- It provides a single number to track your research data impact over time
Current S-Index: 0.3 (sum of 1 dataset Dataset Index scores)

The zip file contains three olders: "XPS_ALOISA", "HREELS", "STM".The "XPS_ALOISA" folder includes other three sub-folders: "Carbene Berkeley_Au_UHV", "Carbene Berkeley_Au_UHV" and "LOGBOOK". The first two folders contain the .Nrm and .PrX files for XPS measurements. The last folder contains .jpg files with the logbook of the related experiments, helpful to understand the dataset. To open these files the suggest software is Igor. The "HREELS" folder includes a sub-folder "Berk_Au111", that contains the HREELS data (and the DFT simulations) as .txt files. This folder contains all data related to the HREELS characterization. To open these files the suggest software is Origin. The "STM" folder includes six sub-folders: "Berk_N_1_15h_A","Berk_N_1_15h_B","Berk_N_1_15h_C","Berk_N_1_15h_D", "Berk_old_2_100uM_15h_200C" and "Berk_UHV". The first five folders contain the data obtained via in air STM. The last folder is related to STM acquisition under UHV conditions. All files are in .STP format. To open this file the suggest software is WSxM.
