This study investigates garlic-based topical creams as anti-inflammatory treatments in a carrageenan-induced paw inflammation model in ICR mice. Phenotypic parameters (redness, temperature, volume) were recorded at 0, 2, 4, 6, and 8 hours post-treatment, and expression of IL-10, SOCS3, and HMOX1 alongside hematological indicators was assessed at 8 hours. Black garlic, fresh garlic, and mometasone furoate creams showed significant reductions in inflammation, with corticosteroid-treated mice exhibiting strong SOCS3 expression, while garlic treatments promoted HMOX1 upregulation and increased lymphocyte counts. The dataset supports the potential of black garlic as a natural anti-inflammatory agent via immune-regulatory pathways.
