CORNELL-CESR. Measurement of the total and differential cross section for the charmed mesons (D and D*) in E+ E- interactions in the continuum region around a centre of mass energy of 10.5 GeV. The data come from the 1995-1999 running period with 2.9 fb-1 in the continuum region at 10.52 GeV and 6 fb-1 at 10.58 onthe 4S resonance.
