S-Index Interpretation
The S-Index (Sharing Index) is a comprehensive metric that represents the cumulative impact of all your datasets. It is calculated as the sum of Dataset Index scores across all your claimed datasets.
What it means:
- A higher S-index indicates greater overall impact of your datasets relative to typical datasets in their fields of research
- The S-Index grows as you add more datasets or as existing datasets gain more citations and mentions
- It provides a single number to track your research data impact over time
Current S-Index: 20.3 (sum of 10 datasets Dataset Index scores)

Datasets
This dataset contains the morphological parameters of arthritic and non-diseased ankle bones, and donor characteristics for the non-diseased tissues. Non-diseased specimens were collected from a tissue bank, and had no history of lower limb trauma or OA, and the arthritic tissues were collected from donors undergoing ankle replacement or fusion surgery for ankle osteoarthritis.

Wear of total knee replacement continues to be a significant factor influencing the clinical longevity of implants. The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of insert conformity on the wear performance of a fixed bearing total knee replacement through experimental simulation. Two geometries of insert were studied under standard gait conditions. This dataset contains the images and wear data relating to the study understanding conformity influence on wear of a fixed bearing total knee replacement.

This study investigated the wear performance of PEEK and CFR-PEEK in a low conformity total knee replacement configuration. Custom-made flat inserts were tested against cobalt-chromium femoral bearings in a knee wear simulation for a period of three million cycles. Wear was assessed gravimetrically at intervals throughout the study. This dataset presents the input profile for the knee wear simulator, the experimental wear data and associated figures relating to the paper

Pin on plate studies to understand the influence of contact pressure, cross shear and counterface were undertaken with surface analysis measured prior to test and at completion. Mean wear factors for each condition were calculated at the completion of the study. This dataset includes the mean wear factor for each condition and the surface roughness measurements.
