Here, we reported the measurement of organic carbon (OC) concentration, stable carbon isotope (δ13C), mineral grain size, water salinity and multiple UV-visible and fluorescence spectra of surface water and sediments along the transect of the lower Yangtze River, Estuary and East China Sea, and compared variability in OC between March and July.
