Description
This dataset contains snow observations. All the files for which the name is a number (e.g., 104010.tab) are manual snow survey data for the province of Quebec, from the Quebec Government. The real extension is not ".tab", but ".csv". Each csv file contains a time series for snow depth (NS000F), snow density (NSD000F) and snow water equivalent (NSQ000F)The file "ReleveSR50.mat" contains a Matlab table in which the first row is the id number of a climate station where there is a SR50, the second column is the date of a measurement, the third column is the depth in cm, the fourth column is the density and the fifth column is the SWE in mm.The file "Station_Nivo_MELCC.tab", for which the real extension is ".csv", contains the id number (Num), the name (Nom), the latitude (lat), longitude (Lon) and altitude (alt) of all the SR50 stations available from the Quebec government for this project.The file "tableSR50.mat" contains the information found in "Station_Nivo_MELCC.tab", with the addition of the type of instrument (6th column, always SR50), the id number of the hydrographic region in Quebec (7th column), the name of this region (8th column) and an empty column "CalVal"
