The gridded meteorological datasets for "Higher Probability of Occurrence of Hotter and Shorter Heat Waves Followed by Heavy Rainfall" (You & Wang et al. 2021; Geophysical Research Letters)

This is the daily gridded meteorological dataset pertaining to the following research paper: "Higher Probability of Occurrence of Hotter and Shorter Heat Waves Followed by Heavy Rainfall" (You & Wang et al. 2021; Geophysical Research Letters). It includes daily gridded observations of maximum temperature downloaded at http://101.200.76.197/data/cdcdetail/dataCode/SURF_CLI_CHN_TEM_DAY_GRID_0.5.html and precipitation deposited in http://101.200.76.197/data/cdcdetail/dataCode/SURF_CLI_CHN_PRE_DAY_GRID_0.5.html. The outputs used in the paper as well as the source data provided by China Meteorological Data Service Center are both uploaded.
