Description

Danish Gallup Omnibus Data, 1987 comprises 18 omnibus surveys carried out by the Danish Gallup Institute in 1987. # #Each survey contains a number of demographic variables common to all the surveys of that year, as well as a number of questions dealing with topical events. # # #The questions common to all 1987 omnibuses are: #The respondent's sex, age and marital status; size of the house- hold, number of adults (persons aged 13 or more) and children, and age of the children; the respondent's position in the household; the respondent's education, occupational status, public or private employment and income; gross household income; the housewife's occupational status; housing conditions and ownership of the dwelling as well as geographical location and degree of urbanization; age, occupational status and public or private employment of the head of the household; which party the respondent voted for at the last general election and which party the respondent would vote for at a general election on the day after the interview. # #The special questions in this omnibus deal with the following issues: # #AIDS; attitude to a reduction of the number of political refugees; attitude to the apartheid system in South Africa; infidelity as grounds for divorce; attitude to a coalition government with the Radical Liberal Party or the Progress Party; and the best suited leader of the Progress Party
