Description

Danish Gallup Omnibus Data, 1989 comprises 15 omnibus surveys carried out by the Danish Gallup Institute in 1989. # #Each survey contains a number of demographic variables common to all the surveys of that year, as well as a number of questions dealing with topical events. # #The questions common to all 1989 omnibuses are: #The respondent's sex, age and marital status; size of the house- hold and number of adults (persons aged 15 or more) and children (persons under 15) and age of the children; the respondent's position in the household; the respondent's education, occupation- al status and income; the bread-winner's education, occupational status and form of payment; gross household income; the spouse's occupational status; housing conditions and ownership of the dwelling as well as geographical location and degree of urbaniza- tion; party preference; and whether the respondent voted at the general election on 10 May, 1988. # #The special questions in this omnibus deal with the following issues: # #The respondent's knowledge of Turkey and the Turks; the TV pro- grammes 'Lykkehjulet' (Wheel of Fortune); the accusations against Erik Ninn-Hansen in the so-called Tamil case; and the adjustment of the economic policy
