Description

Danish Gallup Omnibus Data 1984 comprises 21 omnibus surveys carried out by the Danish Gallup Institute in 1984. # #Each survey contains a number of demographic variables common to all the surveys of that year, as well as a number of questions dealing with topical events. # #The questions common to all 1984 omnibuses are: #The respondent's sex, age and marital status; size of the household and number of adults (persons aged 15 or more) and children, and age of the children; the respondent's position in the household; the respondent's education, occupational status and income; the bread-winner's education, occupational status and form of payment; gross household income; the spouse's occupational status; housing conditions and ownership of the dwelling as well as geographical location and degree of urbanization; vote at the general election on 10 January, 1984; and which party the respondent would vote for at a general election on the day after the interview. # #The special questions in this omnibus deal with the following issues: # #Whether the respondent or the respondent's children have been to a private or a council school; the difference between private and council schools apart from the fee; purchasing of prescription drugs; appanage for Prince Henrik; sex equality; and attitude to Denmark's membership of the EC
