Description

This study focuses on the Bay Area to examine the impact and significance of integrating blockchain technology, cross-border e-commerce, and productive service outsourcing within this region. This paper constructs a blockchain technology service outsourcing model for heterogeneous firms and analyzes it from theoretical, empirical, and simulation analysis. It obtains the following three conclusions: 1.Governments should prioritize the integration of blockchain technology and productive service outsourcing to drive economic development and enhance social welfare; 2. It is in the best interest of trading partner countries to strengthen their e-commerce infrastructure as trade between nations increases; 3. For countries in the Bay Area, there is also inherent motivation to help trading partner countries narrow the cross-border e-commerce development gap between the two countries and create a win-win situation.
