The dataset contains narrative notes from the participants and their interpretations. The interviews and questionnaires were employed to collect the data. The content analysis technique was used to interpret the data. With this, the researcher was able to track down, record, and interpret the appearance of concepts from different literature. The supplementary data underpin the study titled 'Towards a decolonised archeology collection: a case study of the National Museum of Namibia'.
