Description

This is one of the upper air data sets developed for the Hurricane Rainband and Intensity Change Experiment (RAINEX). It includes 94 high resolution vertical (2 second) rawinsonde data from the Servicio Meteorol&ocaute;gico Nacional (SMN) Comisión Nacional del Agua (CNA), which forms part of the Secretaríade Medio Ambiente y Recursos Naturales (SEMARNAT). There are 2 stations (Merida and Vera Cruz) that measure pressure, temperature, humidity and wind that are released twice a day. The SMN home page can be found here: http://smn.cna.gob.mx/SMN.html.
