Description
Prolonged intubation has been implicated in poor outcomes after adult cardiac surgery. Postoperative extubation is an important indicator when examining postoperative outcomes after valve surgery via either minimally invasive (MI) thoracoscopy or traditional median sternotomy (MS). We retrospectively compared the post-cardiac surgery outcomes of these two approaches, focusing on extubation.
