Description

This study aimed to evaluate the effect of two inhibitors of class I histone deacetylases (HDACs), 4-phenylbutyrate (PB) and IN14, on memory performance in mice exposed to a single forced swimming stress session. The database shows the results of the manuscript: "CLASS I HISTONE DEACETYLASES INHIBITION REVERSES MEMORY IMPAIRMENT INDUCED BY ACUTE STRESS IN MICE".
1. Corticosterone levels of each experimental group: VEH (vehicle), PB, and IN14 (stress and not stress). 2. Motor activity: results are shown as the number of counts in 5 min of total, ambulatory, and vertical activity. 3. Novel Object Recognition Test (NORT): results are shown as the discrimination index (1h and 24 h) of each experimental group (VEH, PB, IN14 (stress and not stress). 4. Elevated T maze (ETM): results are shown as the acquisition latency, "AL" ( AL1, AL2, AL3, and AL4) which is considered the learning criterion. LR indicates the retention latency (the time to leave the enclosed arm "seconds"), and EL indicates the escape latency (time to enter with all four paws to the enclosed arm "seconds"). 5. Buried food location test (BFLT). results are shown as the acquisition latency, "AL" ( AL1, AL2, AL3, AL4, AL5, and AL6) that is the time finding the pellet, LR indicates the retention latency, "T/O" is the time in the target quadrant and opposite respectively (seconds). 6. HDAC2: expression of HDAC2 in the mouse hippocampus (OD/ml).
