Leishmania donovani (HU3) proteome

The current version of the Leishmania donovani (HU3 strain) genome was published in 2019 (Camacho et al., PMID: 30992521). Since then it has been incorporated into different databases: NCBI, ENA, UniProt, TriTrypDB, etc.Although the genome sequence remains the same, gene annotations have been improved by incorporating information derived from transcriptomics and proteomics studies and bibliographic sources in which particular genes/proteins were analyzed. The archive linked to this Mendeley data entry is a Fasta file with the sequences of all proteins annotated to date in L. donovani (HU3). For instance, among other purposes, this information may be helpful for protein identification by searching against this database the mass spectra derived from proteomics studies.
