Description

This stone was uncovered during excavations at Tregiffian burial chamber (Cornwall, UK) in 1968, and was given to a local farmer. Unfortunately we do not know where he put the stone and presume that it is in a nearby hedge but is obscured by undergrowth. Only three photographs (one colour, two black and white) are known to exist of this stone, and these have been used to create a simple surface model to help us check against a drawn plan from the original excavation.View a 3D scan of Tregiffian burial chamber.*The project was funded by a British Academy/Leverhulme small research grant.*Source: Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab
