Trench 1 (mid way through)

Trench 1 (1.00 m x 1.50 m) was opened to see if the wall identified by Hammond as being Illyrian may continue across the plateau (or Kala). It was also hoped that some datable material may be found to help verify Hammond's hypothesis.At this point it seems to be clear that the wall isnt very old, and has large voids under it. This means that the foundations are ontop of rubble, and the wall wouldnt be able to support much weight.
