Homo neanderthalensis Location: Ehringsdorf Quarries near Weimar, Germany. Age: 150,000 – 120,000 years B.P. Dimensions: length, 192 mm; width, 146 mm; height, 118 mm. Material: plaster cast. Notes: RLA catalog no. 1979rp35 (cast). Cranial vault, of calotte. Fossil also known as Ehringsdorf H or Ehringsdorf 9. Reported in 1928 by Franz Weidenreich. Cast made by the University Museum of the University of Pennsylvania. From the teaching collection of the Research Laboratories of Archaeology, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
