Description

Black gloss olla, used as an urn. Bones preserved inside. Brown clay with with brown-black paint. Form created in Volterra at the end of the 4th c. BCE. Produced also in other north-etrsucan workshops until the end of the 2nd c. BCE. Tomb II.505, Necropolis of Poggio Pinci, Asciano. Mangani 1983, n. cat. II, 26. Displayed at the Civic Museum of Archaeology and Sacred Art at Palazzo Corboli, Asciano. Processed in Reality Capture from 572 images.
