Chapelle Sainte Cecile, Beauvais Cathedral.The painting represents the entrance of Cardinal Cholet to Beauvais as legate of the pope. The cardinal was the founder of the chapel in which the painting is located, he died in 1293. It may be thought that some parts of the painting date from this time, but repainted are important.
