Description

William Henry Harrison Walking cane inscribed and dated March 4, 1841. 37" long. Inaugural cane inscribed on gold metal top (handle) around bottom band area: "Gen. William H. Harrison March 4th, 1841." Top handle is square shaped with white or crystal jewel. Under the jewel the metal top narrows and then widens again with decorative bands - the gold eight sided tear drop or pedal shape decoration which has four of the shapes inverted and four pear shapes solid narrows to a six sided gold band which flares outward to a 1/8th inch gold decorated band; another 1/8th inch decorated band is ¼ inch below separated by narrowing 16 sided gold band with the inscription. Wood of cane is lighter on one side at top under inscription. Wood around a knot and on the reverse side of the knot is a rough area but polished.This item was 3D scanned using a Creaform Go Scan 50.Source: Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab
