Description
Pillory from the 15th century in Pettendorf. The eight-sided shaft with fluted capital was probably erected in 1475, when the first market rights were granted. Until the end of the 18th century, the pillory was a pillar used for the punishment of wrongdoers within the framework of the lower courts, where the punished were tied up and publicly paraded.Source: Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab
