A report by the District of Columbia City Council, an overview of the riots following the assassination of Martin Luther King, Jr. and what happened within each area of government operations in response, 1968 May 10. PART OF SERIES: Materials in the series address the policies, procedures, and operations of the Los Angeles and Pasadena Fire Departments during emergency situations. Included are manuals and handbooks related to emergency planning, minutes fom several Los Angeles Board of Fire Commissioners' meetings, and incident logs maintained by the Los Angeles Fire Department during the 1992 riots. The series also contains miscellaneous reports about civil unrest in general, and emergency operations survey worksheets completed by 26 California counties after the riots.
