9 photographs of the Tournament of Roses Parade, Pasadena, California, 1939 January 2. Parade floats shown include: the float carrying the Tournament of Roses queen Barbara Dougall, the Grand Marshal float carrying Shirley Temple, and the float carrying the president of the Tournament of Roses. There are also: the usual opening equestrian and pedestrian group carrying the theme banner ("A Golden Memory") and followed by a marching band, a group of horse-drawn carriages, an equestrian group dressing as hunters and marching with hounds, more marching bands (one with a banner "Golden Memories," and another equestrian group.
