Description

14 photographs of crowds gathered on sidewalks, including in front of buildings and near a Union 76 gasoline station, with a traffic signal and automobiles on the street, Santa Monica, California, 1941 April 13. Signs include one for the Zebra Room ("Informal Dining") and the Cape Cod Room, [I.] Magnin & Co[mpany], Jane Assell's Tea Room, one including The Merry Macs, and "No Parking" signs everywhere on lampposts.
