Baker will not negotiate the legal working rights of their employees, on strike, Retail Shoe Local 406, A[merican] F[ederation] of L[abor]." "Subject: Pickets at 6664 Hollywood, 5404 Wilshire & downtown stores." "Client: C. H. Baker Co[mpany], Mr. Kaplan, 629 So[uth] B[road]way; operator's report - name: Cross & D[ick] W[hittington]; 5 different locations 8 at 2.50 plus 5.00 for different locations; in city: Amount: 25.00" - on envelope. "Job: 6664 Hollywood B[ou]l[e]v[ar]d, Mr. Neymeyer; 5404 Wilshire B[ou]l[e]v[ar]d, Mr. Austin" - on job card.
