Description

2 photographs with a print of an apparently indigenous woman making pots, probably in Los Angeles, California, 1936 September 21. "Client: Vernon Potteries L[imi]t[e]d, 2300 East 52 St[reet], Mr. Faye J. Bennison, Kimb. 2124" -- on envelope front. "Operator's report, name: 'Dick' [Whittington] & Howard; Amount: 65.00 - including model; Model (name): Martha Locust 10.00" -- on envelope back. The negative envelope indicates that the Whittington studio fulfilled 2 print orders.
