Description

The monitoring of the situation of people with disabilities in 2008 was based on the monitoring in 2007, and continued to track and monitor the disabled individuals identified in the second national sampling survey of people with disabilities in 734 communities across 31 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities, 734 counties, cities, and districts across the country. The monitoring period is from April 1, 2007 to April 1, 2008. The main content of monitoring is determined based on the indicators of China's well-off index system for people with disabilities and the main indicators of the second national sampling survey of people with disabilities, including the survival, development, and environmental conditions of people with disabilities, including their living, rehabilitation, education, employment, community services, accessible environment, legal services, and their changes. The actual monitoring this time was 20697 people, with 10724 males, accounting for 51.8%; There are 9973 women, accounting for 48.2%. The gender ratio is 107.5. Looking at urban and rural areas, there are 4915 people in urban areas, accounting for 23.7%; There are 15782 people in rural areas, accounting for 76.3%.
