"Client: Desmond's, Ken McNiel, Mr. 'Link' Hannah, Miss Virginia Bates, Mr. Andrews, Newt Free; 10 original photographs to size @ 9.50 each - amount 95.00; 20 original photographs to size (action) @ 14.50 each - amount: 290; 1 original photograph to size (action large group) - amount: 19.50; [total] Amount: 404.50; prices altered subsequently to read "Amount: 375.00" - on envelope. Editor's note: although most of the photographs appear to have been taken "at studio," there are many negatives that have been heavily masked with a fluid to erase the background, and there is at least one that looks as if it was taken on a university campus.
